These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of sala.video (the "Service", "sala", "we", "us"), operated by Immigrant Films Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia. By creating an account or purchasing a film, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use sala. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
Films are sold as one-time purchases — there is no subscription. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD); some local payment methods (such as Yape) may be displayed in local currency. Payments are processed by our payment providers (including Stripe); by completing a purchase you authorise the charge. A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream and watch that film. You do not acquire ownership of the film or any intellectual-property rights in it.
"Buy and keep" means ongoing access to stream the films in your collection, subject to these Terms and to the film's continued availability on sala. We aim to keep purchased titles available, but cannot guarantee perpetual availability — for example if a filmmaker's rights change.
Because films are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once you begin watching a film. If a film fails to play, or you were charged in error, contact us at support@sala.video and we will put it right.
Your licence is for personal, non-commercial viewing only. You may not:
You may share your collection link and earn credit (currently 50%) on qualifying first purchases made through your link. Credits are recorded in your account and paid out after you arrange payout details. We may adjust, withhold, or reverse credits in cases of fraud, abuse, self-referral, refunded or reversed payments, or breach of these Terms. Credits have no cash value except as paid out under this program, which we may change or discontinue.
Films and stories are owned by their filmmakers or rights holders and licensed to sala for sale. All other content, trademarks, and software on the Service are owned by us or our licensors.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and change prices, at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the film(s) giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
